I have xp professional and the printer loaded without any problem. The loading instructions are straightforward and the printer is great value for money. There is a slight clunk as the feeder picks up the paper but after that the printer is not unduly noisy. Follow the easy to use instructions and do not be put off with the adverse comments as I nearly was. I paid 39.99 but even at the new price it is worth the money. Replacement cartridges are cheap and for every day use what more can you want.

I decided to upgrade from the SX205 and purchased this printer. All I can say is that it's brilliant! Cartridges aren't too expensive and the print quality is great. I can't say I ever print out pictures but for box standard printing of word documents this is ideal! Would most definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap but effective printer.

easy to install, even for a technophobe like me!
print quality good, copier also good quality, have only printed photo's onto paper not photo paper but still quite good. love that i can use it without the computer being on from the card slot.
my only critism is it is noisy when it starts to print, haven't had to change ink yet so not sure how long it lasts, seems like a good value for money purchase.

Just bought this to replace a broken epsom stylus basic printer. This is a very nice looking printer smaller than the last 3 in 1 we had. Works great, set up easy, prints pics and text fantastic. Great to have the separate inks as different printing uses different amounts. Noisy? not really, OK for me. Well recomended at this price.
